I've been to T-Street several times now and have yet to be disappointed.  This time the burger was going down... who doesn't love a good burger!  I opted to sit in the bar area.  That seems to be my latest trend along with taking advantage of happy hours but I really just like to watch people so there is that!  :P

The Roadhouse Burger was quite good but hey, how can you go wrong with short rib on a quality beef burger?  I wanted to try the onion rings and man, they were good!  A spicy dipping sauce just works well with rings so I asked for a sriracha aioli which was on point!  And onion rings do count as my veggie, right?  ;0)

T-Street does have a covered patio area which is usually pretty full if you want to take advantage of the Colorado weather.  So pop on in and enjoy!

Came here again and sat on the covered patio- they allowed me to bring my ESA which was nice.

My husband got the chicken and waffles and enjoyed them.

I ordered the roadhouse burrito which was supposed to have chorizo. I bit into it and it was shredded roast beef. I asked about it and the waitress went to talk to the kitchen and found out there was a disconnect between the menu saying chorizo and the kitchen thinking it should be roast beef. They remade my order and delivered it quickly which was nice- but that was weird and shows how much that item is ordered??

The burrito was okay. I wasn't a fan of the sweet brown sauce- I think it would have been better without it.

Our server did not ask if we wanted anymore drinks nor did she refill our water after the first time so we were quite parched.

Went out tonight for a date night with my husband. Sat at a bar top since we aren't high maintenance and don't mind. We were excited to be there since it seemed like a nice place; surely a good sign of a good meal and good service...

Wrong. Unfortunately, the service was less than stellar. In fact, the bar tender that waited on us was kind of short, uninterested in our table. But whatever, that's service, and not indicative of the food.

Wrong again. The food was adequate at best. We ordered the queso fondido. Pretty good but glad we ate all of it since our meals were less than average. Next up, short rib enchiladas and mahi-mahi tacos. The enchiladas were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The tacos tasted way too miracle-whippy. Oh, and not to mention, the old fashioned was too sweet and the margarita too tart.

Look, I don't usually review, but I was disappointed. Hopefully this will keep you from landing here for date night. There are better options in Belmar, even Chuys.

    Bummed about spending $80 tonight.

This is a bummer review to write, as I actually like the food here quite a bit. The one star is out of utter frustration at the "cake slicing fee" they wanted to charge our party in order to let us have the birthday cake we brought for my birthday tonight.

I chose this restaurant for my 15-person birthday dinner consisting of my and my husband's family on an otherwise quiet Wednesday night. Side note- I chose this location instead of Ted's Montana Grill and PF Chang's, both nearby restaurants of similar price point and quality that do not charge a "cake slicing fee." After a nice dinner with fine, if somewhat slow, service, we asked if we could have forks for the birthday cake. We brought plates, knives, etc- everything else needed. The waitress informed us that they had recently instituted a cake slicing fee, but she would talk to her manager about it. When she returned she informed us that the manager had agreed to cut the fee in half for us, resulting in a $15 fee. I balked at this, explaining that I had never been charged a fee like this at any other restaurant in the Lakewood area that we had visited for a birthday, and she apologized but insisted it was out of her hands. Two other members of our party also expressed our displeasure, but not only did she not budge, her manager also never came out to talk with us about the issue.

We ended up taking the cake to the plaza next to restaurant to enjoy. I informed her that the policy had just cost them a decent amount of business, but this clearly wasn't a concern. I can't decide if my frustration is more pronounced because of the absurdity of the fee (no, you are not losing money because you offer dessert - nobody in our party would have purchased it if we didn't bring cake), or the fact that the manager never even deigned to talk with us after a $300+ party of 15 people were expressing their displeasure. As I stated in the beginning, it's a definite bummer. We, along with our respective families, would likely have been regular and long time customers if it weren't for this experience.

Great restaurant! I've never had anything I didn't like. In fact, I've never had anything I didn't LOVE. Get the brussel sprouts!! If we're with a group I love the baked brie, but I can't convince myself it's ok to get by myself. even if I really want to. I love their salads. Gormet salads with fruits and nuts and perfectly paired dressings. My fav is the grilled pair, and I add salmon. The wines they carry are really yummy to the point that one time my friend and I went online and ordered a half case each of the wines we had tried there.
I'll also say it's a cool and relaxed vibe. Higher end aesthetic without being too posh. Casual lunch with the coworkers but still nice enough for a Friday night date.
